
Rifle Fundamentals Course
The Rifle Fundamentals Course is designed for beginners and novice shooters seeking to build a strong foundation in safe and effective rifle handling.
Students will be introduced to essential rifle safety, identification of rifle components, and proper techniques for manipulating and operating their rifle. The course covers safe handling, loading and unloading procedures, stance, sling use, and the fundamentals of marksmanship. Zeroing concepts and live fire application are also included.
Course Topics Include:
• Rifle safety and range protocols
• Parts and functions of the rifle
• Loading, unloading, and clearing procedures
• Shooting stance and body mechanics
• Fundamentals of marksmanship
• Zeroing concepts
• Basic rifle manipulation and sling use
• Live fire drills and skill reinforcement
Recommended Equipment / What to Bring:
• Rifle with sling and minimum of 3 magazines
• Eye and ear protection
• Minimum of 300 rounds of rifle ammunition
• Long sleeves or appropriate range attire
• Bug spray, sunblock, and hydration (water, electrolytes, etc.)
• Rifle with iron sights or optic (zeroed or ready to be zeroed)
Rental rifles and gear may be available upon request.
